It is easy to locate No. 10 Tea Garden in Avoncliff by bike, car, foot, rail or water.

By bike

You can cycle from Bradford on Avon (1.5 miles/15 minutes) or Bath (8 miles/60 minutes) along route 4 of the sustrans cycle path to reach us.

By car

The tea garden is located in a beautiful valley just inside the Cotswolds which is accessible by car. There is a ‘pay and display’ car park next to the tea garden. Directions can be complicated due to being located deep in to the countryside, therefore please input BA15 2HD in your sat nav. If you end up driving down a steep and narrow lane, you will be with us shortly!

By foot

If walking from Bradford on Avon, its a very manageable level 35 minute stroll westwards through Barton Farm beside the river Avon or via the Kennet and Avon Canal.

If walking from Bath, its approximately 2.5/3 hour walk eastwards alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal.

By Rail

Avoncliff railway station is only yards from No.10 Tea Garden. Forming part of the ‘Heart of Wessex line’, we are directly connected to Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Portsmouth. We are only 10 minutes from Bath and 3 minutes from Bradford on Avon on the train. Please use the front carriage due to the small size of the Avoncliff platform.

By water

We are located opposite not only the river Avon but also the Kennet and Avon Canal and you can therefore locate us easily via the water. There are several exit points to dismount your canal boat, canoe, kayak or paddle board to visit the tea garden. You are also welcome to store your vessel whilst enjoying a pitstop with us.

Disabled access

There is easy access to No.10 tea Garden for wheel chair users.

We would like to make people aware however, there is a slight slope down from the private car park area to the entrance of No.10.

The garden space is made up of a grassy area as well as stone chippings.

We have a toilet in which a wheel chair is able to get up to, however, a wheel chair is unable to go inside the toilet.
